India's Independence Day was celebrated at Fremont Hindu Temple

FREMONT: India's Independence Day was celebrated at Fremont Hindu Temple with a painting competition for kids from age 4 -15.Around 80 kids in age group 2 years to 14 years participated in the competition held at the Saraswati Hall in Fremont Hindu Temple on August 30 between 11 am -1pm.

Kids dressed in bright and colorful dresses created very artistic and creative paintings. Kids created paintings showing beautiful green mountains, butterflies, rising sun, rivers, beautiful landscapes , houses surrounded by river and mountains, Lord Ganesha, Lord Krishna, Flowers, Indian national flag, colorful landscape of a perfect world, a rising sun shining onto a pristine town on the banks of a crystal-clear river, surrounded by rolling verdant hills and flowing rivers, or portraying a land full of bright, vivid greenery and bright colored flowers.

The event was covered by Sitaare TV. Kavita Arora from Sitaare TV Interviewed kids .This will be telecast on Local Bay area Channel in Fremont and San Jose.The event was organized by Fremont Temple Youth Committee Chairman -Ajay Bhutoria and Vinita Bhutoria. Nirmal assisted in co-coordinating the activities.
