Hindu event planned today in Stratford

STRATFORD - The Hindu Cultural Center of Connecticut Inc. will host a Yajurveda Yajna for peace, environment, happiness and the class of 2008 from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 96 Chapel St.
Dinner will follow. Yajna is a Vedic tradition where oblations are offered.
The public is invited. The event is free. Donations are welcome and are tax-deductible.
